Entry #7 - Fresh
The audience of the film is the general public, seeing as food and eating effects each and every one of us as human beings. Joanes does a great job conveying the importance of sustainable agriculture in America and after watching the film, it definitely left me thinking more about food, where it comes from, how we get it, and what it does to us once we eat it.
One of the most memorable moments of the film was not a when, but a who, and after watching Joel Salatin give us a run-down of sustainable agriculture, even I imagined the life of a farmer on a sustainable farm. Salatin is very charismatic and his passion for agriculture shined through the entire film. "I am a caretaker of creation...I don't own it. And what I'm supposed to do is leave it in better shape for the next generation, than when I found it." Salatin said in the film, and I think this summed up his passion and love for sustainable agriculture perfectly.
"Fresh" was a thought provoking, educational film and I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone who purchases or consumes food in America (spoiler: that's all of us!)

I agree about leaving it in better shape than how you found it. This was a great movie, and it made me think more about where the food that i eat comes from.
